Baseball Legend Rickey Henderson Passes Away At 65

Rickey Henderson, the legendary Hall of Famer and Major League Baseball’s all-time leader in stolen bases, has passed away at the age of 65 from pneumonia, according to a statement from his family.

Henderson had a remarkable MLB career that began in 1979 with the Oakland Athletics and concluded in 2003 with the Los Angeles Dodgers.

He was a 10-time All-Star and holds several records, including the most career stolen bases with 1,406 and the most runs scored.

Henderson was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009, and tributes from across the baseball community have honored his legacy.
