CNN’s ratings are still on the decline, hitting a record low in the crucial 25-to-54 age demographic, with an average of only 92,000 viewers per day.
This marks a 1% drop from last year’s already low average of 94,000. Since President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in November, CNN’s viewership in this demographic has plummeted by 52%, averaging only 77,000 viewers.
Overall, CNN’s primetime audience has decreased by 45% this year, with just 11% of primetime cable news viewers tuning in, compared to 72% for Fox News.
Meanwhile, MSNBC has also seen a significant drop in viewership, particularly in its primetime slots.
