Ana Kasparian, co-host of “The Young Turks,” has expressed that she may consider leaving California if Vice President Kamala Harris runs for governor in 2026.
Reports indicate Harris is contemplating a gubernatorial bid or a presidential run, with many candidates willing to step aside for her.
Kasparian, a vocal critic of the Democratic establishment, reacted strongly to the possibility of Harris leading the state, stating, “I’m gonna quit my job, and I’m gonna move.”
Despite her history as a Democratic supporter, Kasparian left the party earlier this year, citing personal experiences that influenced her decision.
“I think Kamala Harris would probably win in a cakewalk for governor,” said co-host Cenk Uygur, to which Kasparian immediately shouted “no!”
“What are you doing? What are you doing?” an animated Kasparian pleaded. “No, I’m telling you the reality, whether you like it or not… Democratic voters in California love to obey.”
“I’m gonna move, Cenk! I’m gonna quit my job,” Kasparian said. “I’m gonna quit my job, and I’m gonna move.”
“I’m not saying I’m in favor of it,” Uygur replied. “I’m telling you what’s, like, if they, the Democratic Party, said, ‘We anoint Kamala Harris,’ a giant percentage of Democrats in California would go, ‘Yes! We obey. We will take the loyalty oath. It doesn’t matter how bad she is.”
