‘Groupies’ Send Love Letters to Accused UnitedHealthcare CEO Killer Luigi Mangione in Jail

Luigi Mangione, who is facing charges for the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, is said to be attracting considerable attention from fans while he is held at Huntingdon State Correctional Institute in Pennsylvania.

He has received over 140 messages, including emails and letters, as well as 163 deposits into his prison account for commissary items.

Some fans have expressed admiration for him, with one claiming he didn’t do anything wrong, while others have even tattooed his image on their bodies.

Additionally, a legal defense fund for Mangione has raised over $100,000 on a fundraising platform after similar efforts were removed from other sites.

The Post described some of the reported messages sent to the alleged killer:

“Hey Luigi, I’m certain you’ve received countless messages from people all over the world the internet is actually in love with you,” one admirer wrote, according to a partial screenshot she posted on TikTok. The hot-and-bothered fan claimed she offered herself to Magnione [sic] as someone around his age that he could chat with while in jail.
