Trump Leads in Key Swing States Amid Harris Concerns

Recent predictions have suggested that former President Donald Trump will win key several key swing states.

Such states include Arizona (68-32%), Georgia (64-36%), and North Carolina (63-37%). Trump also holds a narrow lead in Michigan (54-46%) and Wisconsin (52-48%).

“What’s happening now with Kamala Harris is an experiment,” journalist Mark Halperin said.

“Can you win a short campaign with an untested candidate? And what I’m telling you in private polling is she’s got a problem now. It’s not cheering for Trump. It’s not predicting Trump will win, [but] she’s got a problem,” Halperin added.

In Pennsylvania, Trump currently leads 55-45%. Harris, meanwhile, is barely leading in Nevada at 51-49%.

“There’s no path without Wisconsin,” Halperin said regarding a Harris victory. “Wisconsin and Michigan are looking worse than before.”

Overall, 57% of bettors are now predicting a Trump victory.

Polls have indicated a tightening race between Trump and Harris, with Harris facing challenges connecting with working-class voters.

“If you go back the last three or four weeks in Michigan and in Wisconsin, not that Harris was up seven and went down to four or down to one,” political commentator Dan Turrentine said.

“It’s gone from three to two to one to tied… and so you do have to sound the alarm bell,” Turrentine added.
