CNN Confirms Kamala’s VP Lied About DUI Arrest

Kamala Harris’ VP pick, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, has faced scrutiny for blatantly lying about his military service and his past drunk-driving incident.

Even CNN had to admit during its coverage that Walz lied about his 1995 DUI arrest during his congressional campaign.

He was caught speeding and subsequently failed sobriety tests, leading to his admission of guilt and an overnight jail stay.

Walz’s campaign lied by claiming that he wasn’t under the influence of alcohol.

They instead suggested that his failure in the field sobriety test was a result of claimed hearing loss from his time in the National Guard.

“None of that was true,” CNN confirmed.

The CNN report pointed out various false claims made during Walz’s congressional campaign, which were reported by several media outlets.

Meredith Salsbery, the communications director for the campaign, stated that Walz had trouble understanding the trooper’s directions during the field sobriety test because the trooper allegedly failed to articulate them clearly.

“The DUI charges were dropped for a reason,” she continued, referring to Walz’s plea deal.

“The judge would not have dismissed them if there were anything to them. Tim drove to the police station that night (after being stopped), and he drove home afterwards. I don’t think the trooper would have allowed that if he thought there was a problem.”

The same false claims were made to the Post Bulletin, another local paper:

Walz’s campaign manager Kerry Greeley also lied by saying, “He couldn’t understand what the officer was saying to him.”
